Who says the Paris Marathon is just for adults? Kids are also encouraged to show what they’re capable of the day before the city's most famous marathon, during the Marathoon's, taking place on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Of course, their route is much shorter: it runs through the 7th arrondissement, on Place de Fontenoy. If you have children aged 5 to 12 who need to burn off some energy, this is the perfect sporting activity!
Young children and teenagers can also turn into genuine athletes and push their boundaries with this special event designed just for them. It’s a fun outdoor challenge that combines entertainment with a great opportunity to stay active.
Four free races are scheduled, depending on the age of the children:
They'll be treated to their very own Village, with plenty of entertainment on the programme, including music and a warm-up to ensure they're well prepared and don't hurt themselves! And at the end of the course, a medal and a real snack will be waiting for them at the finish to congratulate them on their efforts and courage! Children don't need a medical certificate to take part in Marathoon's, but be sure to print out and fill in a parental authorization form.
So, are we going to come and applaud the little stars of the day?
