The town of Vincennes is celebrating Bastille Day 2023 a day early, with a grand firemen's ball on July 13.

As July 14th approaches, the whole of France is in a festive mood. This is hardly surprising, given that it's Bastille Day. As a result, traditional festivities abound in every corner of the country. Between July 13 and 14, bals populaires, firemen's balls, fireworks displays and military parades are organized to delight French people and tourists alike. In Paris, the day is usually marked by an iconic fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower anda military parade down the Champs Elysées, considered the most beautiful avenue in the world.
