2018 FIFA World Cup: the French Team parades on the Champs-Elysées

After France won over Croatia (4-2) during the 2018 FIFA World Cup final, the French Team expects you on Monday July 16, 2018 at 5 p.m. for a parade on the Champs-Elysées.

Victory is ours! Strongly cheered by supporters, the French Team went on its merry way in Russia until it reached the 2018 FIFA World Cup final. We hail Samuel Umtiti, we celebrate Ngolo Kanté, we salute Kylian Mbappé who runs faster than a lightning bolt and even Griezmann who’s been determining on some games… and for the final between Croatia, the French Team will move France!

While supporters are getting ready for this ultimate game, planning maybe going to the Champs-de-Mars to watch the final on a big screen, or in one of the many bars where it will be broadcasted before celebrating an eventual victory by storming the Champs-Elysées, the French Team knows too how to celebrate its return in France.

After winning over Croatia and winning its second star, the French Team will proudly parade on the Champs-Elysées in Paris. A celebration held on Monday July 16, the day the team will come back to France. And it's at 5 p.m. that soccer fans will express how proud they are and cheer the team that made them live crazy feelings during the whole world cup in Russia. If you want to take part in this popular jubilation and parade along the French Team, we recommend you to come very early on the Champs-Elysées since they will be quickly stormed. A meeting at the Elysée palace is planned at around 6 a.m./6:30 a.m. Another reason not to miss it.

In terms of security, everything has been planned: "Some 2,000 policemen will be on the spot to secure the event" the Police Prefecture said who "prepared special measures to make sure the event is entirely secured and prevent from public disorders and other misbehaviors". Let's celebrate the French Team, shall we?
