In a galaxy not so far away, Paris dusts off the lightsabers. Each year, the Star Wars Day brings together fans of George Lucas's iconic saga around the famous May the 4th, a nod to "May the Force be with you". For the occasion, a slew of animations, releases and experiences around Star Wars await families and enthusiasts in Paris and Île-de-France on May 4, 2026 and beyond.
This saga has been thrilling fans since 1977, with the release of Episode IV, A New Hope, on the big screen, followed by the other installments of this first trilogy featuring the struggle between Rebel forces and the Galactic Empire, led byEmperor Palpatine and his right-hand man, Darth Vader. Over the years, Star Wars has become a major cultural phenomenon, encompassing films, series, books, video games and merchandising. To celebrate this universe, every year fans from all over the world come together to share their love of the saga, organize events and pay tribute to this mythical universe.
