After almost one month in lockdown, this Tuesday November 24, 2020 Emmanuel Macron said lockdown will be lifted on December 15, 2020. Therefore, trips from one region to another are to be allowed again.

The coronavirus epidemic is slowing down in France. Because of the second contamination wave, more and more restrictions were implemented to keep the health situation under control and avoid a re-containment. Even though this new lockdown is lighter than the first one, French will have to adapt to this new measure limiting their trips. It signs the return of the derogatory trip certificates all over the country, but not only. The head of state has also confirmed it was banned to travel from one region to another

But, this Tuesday November 24, 2020Emmanuel Macron announced the first easing measure and a key date: December 15 is said to mark the lifting of lockdown and the end of derogatory trip certificates, excluding during curfew. Past this day, trips between regions are once again allowed if the health situation allows it.
