It’s undoubtedly a musical event that Paul McCartney’s fans won’t miss for anything in the world. The “Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Oratorio” to be discovered at Boulogne-Billancourt La Seine Musicale on Saturday November 16, 2019 for a unique show welcoming on the occasion over 300 artists – musicians and choristers – on stage.
For the first time since its creation in Liverpool in 1991, Paul McCartney’s symphonic work will be brought back to life under its co-writer Carl Davis’ baton.
Through a tale sounding like an autobiography, Paul McCartney wanders the character of Shanty around an ordinary life’s tribulations. From the school chairs to the church’s, from the death of a father to the birth of a child, the Liverpool Oratorio delivers a spectacular and moving timeline of the British youth in the 50’s.
Let’s recall this this masterpiece has been made for the 150th anniversary of Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
