Two years after storming the La Cigale stage to promote their album “The Blue Hour”, Suede are back in the limelight with a new European tour celebrating their record “Coming Up” released in September 1996.
Genuine glam-pop-rock gem, the album has been named for the Mercury Prize in 1997 and was supported by 5 working and arousing singles: “Trash”, “Beautiful Ones”, “Saturday Night”, “Lazy”, “Filmstar”. Thanks to “Coming Up”, British band Suede have been able to take success up again, after the craziness of their first and eponymous album.
This Fall, Brett Anderson and friends will make the most of this tour to play the entire famous opus. No need to tell you that this is a show you don’t want to miss… Should we remind you that Brett Anderson is known for being a performer of an unparalleled vocal precision and energy.
In Paris, Suede expect you for one concert only on Tuesday October 20, 2020 at Salle Pleyel. As for tickets, they go on sale this February 7 at 10 a.m. (CET).
In the meantime, we invite you to work on your Suede classics and we leave you to it with “Beautiful Ones”:
