Because of the current health crisis, initially planned on August 29, 30 and September 1, 2020 at the Domaine National du Parc de Saint Cloud, Rock en Seine is cancelled and postponed to 2021. Rage Against the Machine were scheduled so were Run The Jewels.
Because of the health crisis, the edition 2020 of the Rock en Seine Festival, initially planned on August 29, 30 and September 1, 2020 at the Domaine National du Parc de Saint Cloud, is postponed to 2021.

In a press release, organizers explain: "Over the past sixteen years Rock en Seine has cemented itself as one of the biggest festivals in France, showcasing international talent in Paris’s Domaine National de Saint-Cloud’s beautiful parkland.  Unfortunately it has become clear that these 3 days cannot take place in the format we had planned due to the health measures currently in place because of the ongoing crisis.

Faced with this force majeure situation, all 2020 ticket holders will have the option of a refund. Ticket holders can also choose to keep their tickets until we announce the 2021 line up. The terms and conditions will be clearly explained on our website in the next few days.

While we wait to return to our original format in 2021, we’re not giving up hope! We’re working on an imaginative, creative, strong and symbolic culture and music event for as soon as health rules permit. Together with our partners and friends: artists, producers, media, sponsors, contributors, public authorities, we’re actively working on this alternative that’s going to bring culture and music back to Saint-Cloud."

Every year, this festival attracts thousands of festivalgoers to the Domaine National du Parc de Saint Cloud. I’m obviously speaking about Rock en Seine that would have taken over Ile de France on Saturday August 29, Sunday 30 and Tuesday September 1, 2020 for three exceptional musical days. Yes, this year, the festival innwanted to innovate ovates and take place on a weekend and a weekday...

Remember, in 2019, the festival delighted festivalgoers with Robert Smith and The Cure. The British band performed a concert for over two hours! The Ile-de-France festival also welcomed The Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, British band Foals, Bring Me The Horizon and duet Royal Blood. As for the rest, Eels, Balthazar, Deerhunter, Clairo, Agar Agar and Bagarre, without forgetting Aphex Twin, Jorja Smith, Major Lazer and Kompromat showed up for the show.

So, who would have had the honor to come after them and rock the Domaine National du Parc de Saint Cloud on August 29, 30 and September 1, 2020? Well, the festival hit very hard with the exceptional and exclusive presence of Rage Against The MachineZack de la Rocha, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford and Brad Wilk would have played their only show in France on September 1, 2020 for the newest edition of Rock en Seine. As for the rest, the festival was to welcome American hip-hop band Run The Jewels.
