Cirque du Soleil is already coming back to Paris with a new show.
Cirque du Soleil will return in a few months at the AccorHotels Arena with the “Corteo” show performed only 6 times from December 12 to 15, 2019.
“Corteo” has been created in 2005 in Montréal and since then it has seduced already over 9 million spectators in about 113 cities and 19 countries scattered around 4 continents.
Remember, the show has been already performed in 2011 on the Ile Seguin, Boulogne-Billancourt. But be rest assured, if you saw the show at that moment, in 8 years it has changed.
“Corteo” meaning “cortege” in Italian features 51 artists (acrobats, musicians, singers and actors) performing a very big and festive procession thought up by a clown. This show takes the audience to a playful and spontaneous theatrical universe set in a strange place set between heaven and earth. It mixes acrobatic exploits, moments of comedy and acting.
It’s in a fun fair atmosphere that the clown – a character not always performed in Cirque du Soleil’s shows – tells his own funerals, under angels’ eyes, on a stage surrounded by curtains inspired by the Eiffel Tower…
If you were already wondering which show you can attend with your families during the Holidays, you’ve found it: “Corteo” by Cirque du Soleil.
