Paris Musée de la vie romantique is expected to reopen from June 16, 2020. This is the occasion to rediscover this charming place nestled in Paris 9th arrondissement.

After closing because of the coronavirus epidemic, Paris museums are gradually reopening since containment exit has started. June 16, 2020 is expected to be marked by a wave of reopenings of museums in Paris. Among those cultural places set to reopen on that day, we have the Musée de la Vie Romantique.

This is a rather small museum but that has a lot of charm, nestled in Paris 9th arrondissement. Set within the Hôtel Scheffer-Renan, it is like a green setting taking us to the heart of the romantic era throughout works of art. This museum takes us to the universe of George Sand and painter Ary Scheffer sees the program paced with the organization of temporary exhibitions, concerts, as well as entertainments for the entire family. The tearoom also is a lovely haven of peace in the heart of Paris.

If the reopening date is not officially set yet and remains subject to the evolution of the situation, the return of the Musée de la Vie Romantique to the Parisian life will enable us to discover the Coeurs exhibition extended to September 13, 2020. Reception conditions and health measures have not been shared yet.
