The Musée d'Orsay takes us to Barcelona and especially to the universe created by Gaudí. From April 12 to July 17, 2022, a major exhibition shines a light on the renown architect and master of Art Nouveau. The Musée d’Orsay wishes to promote Gaudi’s creativity and major influence in Catalonia from the 19th to the 20th century, revealing his major pieces, from the palace’s parks to landmark the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.

Discover through a bold visit the architect’s studio, his innovative working techniques, his collaborators and his fantastic projects. Drawings, models and furniture are a way to this one-of-his-kind artist’s monumental universe.

Works displayed for this immersive exhibition unveil Antoni Gaudi’s fascination for colors and space. The staging created by the Musée d’Orsay immerges us in the architect’s extraordinary creations. (Re)discover the artist’s greatest work such as the Sagrada Familia, the Güel park and palace, the Casa Milà…

Seven creations by Gaudi are listed on the UNESCO World’s Heritage. An acknowledgment of the genius of this man who changed the face of Catalonia when social and political changes urged artists to innovate and grow.
