Curieuse nocturne: G for Gaudi, a not-to-be-missed event at the Musée d'Orsay

The Musée d'Orsay is once again organizing its Curieuses nocturnes, to our great delight! The idea? A special evening focusing on the artist or exhibition currently in the spotlight at the museum. A nocturnal event featuring artists, singers, DJs, specialists and artistic happenings to amaze and delight the public.

The next date has been set: the Musée d'Orsay awaits us this Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 6.30pm to 11pm, for a Curieuse nocturne entitled G for Gaudi!

The Parisian museum is devoting a major retrospective to the architect's exceptional destiny. This evening should be just like Gaudi: ambitious, extravagant and memorable!

On the program for this unique evening:

• ORSAY" CONCERT by Catching Flies
  Grande Nef, level 0, at 7pm, 8:30pm and 10pm
  Is it possible to translate the grandiose architecture of the Gare d'Orsay into music? Now it is, thanks to Catching Flies, and their track ORSAY, composed as a tribute to the station's architecture. Accompanied by a string quartet, the electronic music composer celebrates the finesse and elegance of the glass-and-steel Nave. An original creation to be discovered during three spectacular live performances under the museum's grand clock.

• PERFORMANCE Castellers: La folie des grandeurs
  Nave, level 0, 8pm and 9:30pm
  Are you familiar with the tradition of the Castellers, the vertiginous Catalan human towers? With a mischievous nod to Gaudi's architecture, the "Castellers de Paris" association invites you to discover this astonishing popular tradition through performances in the museum's Great Nave.
  
  
• WORKSHOP Going higher
  With Castellers de Paris
  Salle des fêtes, level 2, 7pm and 8:30pm
  Want to test your sense of balance and teamwork? Members of the Castellers de Paris association await you in the museum's Salle des fêtes for a giant workshop. A unique opportunity to defy the laws of gravity. Registration required at the museum reception desk.

• FLIGHT MEDIATION Archi-texture
  When Art is inspired by Nature
  With Ecole du Louvre students
  Throughout the museum, 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm
  Whether architects, painters, sculptors or even engineers, creators have never ceased to draw inspiration from Nature. Guided by students from the Ecole du Louvre, discover biomorphism in the Musée d'Orsay collections. With Ecole du Louvre students.
  
  
• ART & BAR Titi Calor & Sonido Tupinamba
  Barcelona DJ set
  Café du musée, level -1, 7-10.30pm
  After the Sagrada Familia, discover another of Barcelona's must-see monuments: the party. Tonight, thanks to the complicity of the Catalan delegation in Paris, two great ladies of the Barcelona nightlife scene, Titi Calor and Sonido Tupinamba, await you for a high-flying DJ set at Café Campana. An opportunity to discover the restaurant's "curious formula" with friends, between a few tapas and a glass of Cava.
  
  
• SAN JORDI AT THE BOOKSHOP
  Books and roses
  Museum bookshop, level 0, 7.30pm to 10.45pm
