This year, Montmartre's not-to-be-missed Fête des Vendanges returns to the heights of the hilltop from Wednesday, October 11 to Sunday, October 15, 2023, with a program as enticing as ever, including a taste trail, a grand parade, Decibels Vendanges concerts, a closing ball and tours of the famous vineyards.

This autumn, the 18th arrondissement of Paris will once again live to the rhythm of the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre. Mark your calendars, the 90th edition of this event awaits you from Wednesday, October 11 to Sunday, October 15, 2023, with a new program rich in diverse and varied entertainment. This year, the Fête des Vendages is taking on the Olympic motto:"Faster, higher, stronger - together", paying tribute to Olympism and sport!

Since 1934, the Clos Montmartre wine has been celebrated in October for five joyous days of popular festivities where taste and gastronomy take center stage! The third-busiest Parisian event after Nuit Blanche and Paris Plages, 500,000 visitors are once again expected to take to the streets of the Butte. Exhibitions, live shows, music, parades, dances, tastings of local and artisanal products and a variety of other activities are all on offer to delight young and old, tourists and Parisians alike.

So, who will have the honor of sponsoring this new edition? To find out, stay tuned! The lucky winner will succeed Camélia Jordana, Sandrine Bonnaire, Nolwenn Leroy, Anaïs, Olivia Ruiz, Firmine Richard, Victoria Abril, Naomi Campbell, Carole Bouquet, Angunn, as well as Mistinguett, who was the first godmother of the Vendanges in 1934.

As every year, the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre will delight Parisians with an eclectic and festive program: the taste trail, the children's choir, vineyard tours, the grand parade, the Decibels Vendanges concerts and the closing ball.

THE LAUNCH PARTY
During the launch party, master of ceremonies Marco Avallone, accompanied by a choir in Olympic colors, will get visitors singing along. To liven things up, cheerleaders and colorful pompoms will be on hand, followed by Iya Traoré, a talented freestyler of the round ball, for a unique performance!

DÉCIBELS VENDANGES
A live music festival immerses us in the diversity of the French music scene for the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre. Young artists will be performing at 3 venues in the 18th district this year: le Hasard Ludique, Be-Jazzy and ADN Montmartre. Here's the program!

VISITS TO THE VINEYARDS
Join us for an original visit to the Clos Montmartre vineyards and discover this atypical place in the capital. Historian and lecturer Jean-Manuel Gabert will tell you all about the history of this protected heritage, a guarantor of the future.

THE "ART AND OLYMPISM IN MONTMARTRE" WALK
For this edition dedicated to sport, the Fête des Vendanges invites you to take part in an original stroll to discover Montmartre's sites and artists linked, in one way or another, to the 1900 Olympic Games.

THE NIGHT RACE
A new edition of the Fête des Vendanges night run, which will take loyal and new athletes from the foot of the Butte to the summit of Mont Olympe, over a 5km course!

THE GREAT CHILDREN'S CHOIR
Children from schools in the 18th arrondissement sing with music teachers from the City of Paris. They explore a musical repertoire paying tribute to sport and Olympic values (Camille, Nougaro, Les Frères Jacques, Yannick Noah, Queen...).

THE TASTE TRAIL
A village of flavors at the foot of the Sacré-Cœur, the Parcours du Goût brings together around a hundred local producers and winemakers every year. They come to promote their know-how and the quality of their region's products.

THE GRAND PARADE
More than fifty brotherhoods from France and abroad parade through the streets of Montmartre for the famous Grand Défilé. Handed down from generation to generation, these folk groups have stood the test of time, passing on their customs and preserving a collective memory. Every year, the Grand Défilé promises a joyous and popular spectacle that celebrates the vineyards and history of Montmartre. The icing on the cake this year is that female footballers will be parading in outfits specially designed for the occasion by Goutte d'Or couturiers.

TRAMPO-PHOTO BY CIE PÔLE-K
The Pôle-K company arrives at the 90th Fête des Vendanges to set up its trampo-photo competition, where participants can immortalize their best jump in a single click.

THE BAN DES VENDANGES
The traditional Ban des Vendanges opens in the heart of Montmartre's vineyards. The Compagnons de la Butte Montmartre perform the Olympic anthem in French and Greek. As for this year's vintage, it's entitled"Montmartre fête le sport", an anniversary vintage to be discovered during this Ban des Vendanges, which the public can attend from rue Saint-Vincent and rue des Saules, which run alongside the Montmartre vineyards.

THE NON-PROPOSAL CEREMONY
The not-to-be-missed event of the Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre returns to the Place des Abbesses. On October 15, 2023, the mayor of the 18th arrondissement, Éric Lejoindre, lends himself to the game of non-marriages and engages some twenty couples for eternity. Starting at 10:30 a.m., couples from all walks of life will parade past the mayor and say "no" to each other!

PARADIS SAUVAGE - DANCE BATTLE
As 2024 sees the inauguration of breakdance as a new Olympic discipline, the Fête des Vendanges invites you to an all-styles dance battle (hip-hop freestyle breaking, popping, krump). On the program? Eight professional dancers face off in improvised duels to a musical selection by DJs Sakeul and Deicy Sanches.

SUPER BAL
The Montmartre Grape Harvest Festival couldn't end without a traditional ball. For this year's super ball, come along in your best tutu, tracksuit or leggings, and join DJ Thierry Lecamp on the decks.
