In Yvelines, twenty museums will open their doors for the exceptional Museums Night: so we selected the best program in this department so that your evening could be as much enlivened as possible!
- Museums Night 2017 at the Palace of Versailles
For Museums Night 2017, the Palace of Versailles offers us to spend the night in the Royal Chapel, the King’s Apartments, the Hall of Mirrors. Visitors can live out a privileged night experience in the heart of the former royal residence.
- Museums Night 2017 at the Musée d’Archéologie nationale de Saint-Germain-en-Laye
For Museums Night 2017, the Musée d’Archéologie nationale du Domaine de Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Museum of National Archeology of Saint-Germain-en-Laye Domaine) opens its doors for free from 6 p.m. to midnight and offers guided tours.
- Museums Night 2017 at the Musée Rambolitrain
On Museums Night 2017 held on Saturday May 20, the Musée Rambolitrain opens its doors until late in the day for an exceptional evening focused on discovering railroad universe. From 8 p.m. to midnight you can enjoy a special lightning on the model network on the second floor. Do you fancy a night-time walk? Get on the garden mini-train for €1.50 per person.
- Museums Night 2017 at the Musée de la Toile de Jouy
The Musée de la Toile de Jouy (Jouy-print canvas museum) opens its doors from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for a "Thaumatrope" workshop during which you and your family can learn how to play this optical toy. And for the music enthusiasts, Versailles Grand Parc music school presents a movement from Johan Sebastian Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No.4, a guitar duet and clarinet. You can also visit the permanent and temporary exhibitions until 11 p.m. and for free.

On Saturday May 20, Museums Night, a "Vintage" evening will evolve around retrogaming and an exhibition focused on the Musée de la ville 40th anniversary.

Museums Night 2017 will also take place on Saturday May 20 at Maison Elsa Triolet – Aragon in Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines (78). On the menu: guided tours in the dark and a conference held by philosopher Alain Badiou. Let’s go!
