Having already opened its doors to the public, the National Assembly continues to invite citizens to discover this mecca of democracy, from an early age, with a dedicated children's trail!

After opening its doors to the general public at the end of 2022, theNational Assembly is now open to future citizens who are not yet old enough to vote! Thanks to free guided tours, you can discover the heart of French democracy in the Palais Bourbon, where laws are voted and deputies discuss the country's future. As well as being a highly historic site, the National Assembly is a superb monument, with many fine decorations to admire. It's sure to delight children and get them interested in politics!

Yaël Braun-Pivet wants to make the National Assembly even more accessible, and from October 28, 2023, guided tours dedicated to children will be available every Saturday at 11am. These tours, led by a tour guide specializing in young visitors, will last around an hour and are suitable for children aged 8 to 13. The youngest visitors can wander through the Hemicycle and the Chamber of Deputies, accompanied by fun and educational explanations.

Only one accompanying adult per child is allowed, and children must wear the same appropriate attire as adults, to match the solemnity of the setting.
