The family event Contes et Histoires (Tales and Stories) returns in December 2025 for a new edition, to be enjoyed during the Christmas holidays. This cultural event, created by the Centre des Monuments Nationaux, invites families to rediscover French heritage through visits, events, and unique and often unusual activities. In the Hauts-de-Seine department, visitors can enjoy the activities at the Maison des Jardies in Sèvres , where this monument unveils its fun program!
The Maison des Jardies was Léon Gambetta's haven of peace. Before him, Balzac had already fallen in love with this little pavilion. The house now belongs to the state, which has turned it into a place dedicated to the memory of the founding father of the Third Republic and the highlights of his political career.
During the Christmas holidays, the Maison des Jardies welcomes us to discover its rich history, but also to have fun with its events and activities suitable for the whole family. Parents and children are invited to visit the monument and enjoy the activities organized on January 2, 3, and 4, 2026.
