Salon du Chocolat in Paris 2023: what to do with children?

The Salon de Chocolat, a not-to-be-missed event for gourmets young and old, is back for another edition from October 28 to November 1, 2023. Of course, the Salon de Chocolat has thought of the little gourmets in the making. Exhibitions, gourmet workshops and confectionery await your little ones over the five days of the show.

For activities specially designed for youngsters, head for the junior Salon du Chocolat! On the program? Gourmet demonstrations and workshops given by top chefs, to teach the whole family how to bake.

In particular, families (and children) are invited to the Pastry Show Junior, the little brother of the show's unmissable Pastry Show, which will be 100% dedicated to children! Here, chefs from Maison Fika, Véro Dodat, Chefsquare, Lili&Clo, Claire Verneil, Silax Pâtisserie ... will be on handall day to prepare recipes that are easy for the whole family to reproduce at home.

This year, the Salon du Chocolatalso invites you to take part in a treasure hunt: find the stickers hidden around the Salon, solve a riddle at each stage (8 in all), and try to win a treasure once you've completed your quest! Then head off to discover the sublime chocolate sculptures, sure to delight young and old alike.

Finally, before you leave the Show, don't miss the not-to-be-missed parade of chocolate dresses, held daily at 4pm and 5pm. Fifteen extraordinary dresses and outfits, partly made of chocolate, are presented during this show. It's an opportunity to combine haute couture and gourmet delights, with sensational dresses created by young fashion talents based on ideas from leading chocolate chefs. Enough to make even the biggest kids dream!
