Kick-off: the 28th edition of the event "Monument jeu d'enfant" is underway! For nearly 30 years, the Centre des Monuments Nationaux (CMN) has invited young children to enjoy its historic monuments for a weekend. In October, during the Toussaint holidays, little curious minds can explore these art- and history-filled places, appreciating, in their own way, the beautiful heritage of our region.
Children aged 5 to 12 are invited to step back in time through a variety ofworkshops: music, dance, make-up, painting, sculpture, storytelling and theater, investigations, shows, visits, games... With these fun and educational activities, castles, estates, villas and basilicas open their doors to children's imaginations.
In the Île-de-France region, 12 national monuments are taking part in the 2026 edition. From Rambouillet Castle to the Conciergerie, including the Panthéon, the Basilica of Saint-Denis, and the Château de Vincennes, kids will have plenty to do to fill their weekend of October 17–18, 2026!
