For Fête Nationale 2023, the town of Les Mureaux is organizing its traditional fireworks display, to be held on the banks of the Seine on July 13. A popular ball is also expected to keep young and old alike dancing!

On July 13, 2023, the town of Les Mureaux is planning a grand fête to celebrate the Fête Nationale , before the next day's celebration from the Eiffel Tower. Once again this year, the traditional fire works display will be fired from a barge on the Seine, while a popular ball is also planned, to keep you dancing into the night! As a great sports town, Les Mureaux is offering a festive evening of rugby, just before the World Cup in France.

Starting at 6:30 p.m., the Parc de l'Oseraie lawn will be the venue for a popular ball open to all, with a banda performing until 7 p.m. and a DJ until 10:30 p.m.. This is followed by a torchlight procession for the whole family, before enjoying fireworks at 11pm and an exceptional pyromusical show, fired from a barge sailing along the Seine. All the colors will be reflected on the waves, and the children's eyes will sparkle!

And this year's theme is Planète Ovale, an original creation by renowned pyromaniac Jacques Couturier, with the voice of Pierre Albaladejo, former French international rugby XV player. It's a fitting tribute to the international competition coming to the region this autumn! It's off to a wild evening, celebrating the French Revolution and the storming of the Bastille, when the knight Pierre Louis Randon de Lucenay distinguished himself by abandoning his privileges in Les Mureaux.

Happy fête nationale!
