To round off the Fête Nationale in style, the Orchestre National de France, the Maîtrise and the Chœur de Radio France are organizing a grand symphony concert on Monday July 14, 2025. And to liven up the evening, the cultural venue nestled in the 18th arrondissement of Paris is inviting songwriter, guitarist, percussionist (bongos, calabash) and singer Ameth Sissokho to a free concert.
For the occasion, Ameth Sissokho will perform with the Sora Yaa Band. Created in 2013 in the vibrant Goutte d'Or district, the Sora Yaa Band mixes languages and styles to bring an energetic groove to life. This explosive group gets the crowds dancing, all driven by the sublime voice ofAmeth Sissokho.
ICI, the Institut des Cultures d'Islam, showcases the diversity and dynamism of Islamic cultures in contemporary French and international art, hosting two or three exhibitions a year and offering an eclectic program of concerts, dance, performances, meetings, conferences, screenings and more.
