Paris concert at the Champ de Mars on July 13 for Bastille Day

To cap off Bastille Day in style, the Orchestre National de France, the Maîtrise, and the Radio France Choir stage a grand free symphonic concert each year on the Champ-de-Mars, opposite the Eiffel Tower. Because the fireworks are being held the day before this year, the big free concert is also moved to Monday, July 13, 2026. On July 13, 2026, the so‑called "Concert de Paris" returns to the Champ de Mars lawn for a fresh, 14th edition. As Radio France notes on its website, entry to the concert is free and without reservation. However, you’re advised to arrive early at the Champ de Mars. "Security checks are expected at the site entrances" and "some metro stations will be closed that day", it states. Note that, due to the heatwave, the Concert de Paris is delayed by 45 minutes and will start at 9:45 p.m.. Additionally, the police prefecture announced that public access to the Champ de Mars will open at 8 p.m. instead of 4 p.m.
