Every July 14th, France goes wild - with joy, of course! In Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region, the Fête Nationale is a not-to-be-missed celebration of republican tradition and festive spirit. The great classics? The military parade on the Champs-Élysées, the grandiose fireworks display from the Eiffel Tower, the lively bals populaires in the four corners of the capital, not forgetting the mythical bals des pompiers that set fire to the dancefloor in the region's barracks. And beyond the Paris ring road, the towns and cities of the Île-de-France region follow suit, with street shows, local fireworks displays, concerts and family events transforming every commune into a mini tricolor celebration. A joyful, inclusive and intergenerational tradition, where music, dance and conviviality brighten up the summer!
And in Verneuil-sur-Seine, a charming town in the Yvelines region (78) nestling between the Seine and the forest, the Fête nationale 2025 is no exception, with the 2nd edition of its Bal au Château! Join us on July 13, 2025 from 6pm to 11:30pm in the grounds of the Château de Notre-Dame for a magical, festive evening open to all. Dress code: blue, white and red, of course!
