Why not celebrate Bastille Day? On the occasion of the Fête Nationale 2026, the city of Nanterre invites families and residents to its traditional feu d'artifice launched from the Gabriel Péri Stadium, on 14 juillet 2026 starting at 11 p.m. If it’s fired from the stadium, it can be enjoyed from the parvis de l'Hôtel de Ville! A visual feast awaits!
For a reminder, each year, the Bastille Day national holiday offers the chance to marvel at numerous fireworks across the Île-de-France (either July 13 or July 14, depending on the town), but also to dance at the community dances and the firefighters’ dances or to gather for a picnic on the grass. In Paris, the traditional fireworks launched from the Eiffel Tower (exceptionally on the evening of July 13 this year, and not the 14th) draw thousands of onlookers, just like the grand Paris concert on the Champ de Mars.
Of course, the Nanterre fireworks display, to be enjoyed with family or friends, is free and open to everyone. It’s a prime opportunity to enjoy a superb pyrotechnic show, especially if you’re in the area. You’d be wise not to miss it!
The fireworks will light up the night on Tuesday, July 14, beginning at 11 p.m. from the Gabriel-Péri stadium. An outdoor show sure to dazzle both youngsters and adults.
The fireworks display starts at 11 p.m. Come and watch from the town hall forecourt. Joliot-Curie Street will be closed to traffic during the show.
