Planning to celebrate the Bastille Day 2026 with family or friends and make the most of July’s sunny weather? In the Île-de-France region, aside from Paris itself—which puts on a spectacular show with its parade, fireworks from the Eiffel Tower, and numerous firefighters’ balls at the capital’s stations—the communities across Île-de-France go all out.
Because of the red heatwave alert and prefectural measures banning pyrotechnic displays as well as gatherings of more than 1,500 people, the City is adapting the July 14 evening program to ensure everyone's safety.
- 6:30 p.m.: paper lantern workshop, picnic and food trucks
- 7:00 p.m.: participatory concert by the All-Star Orchestra
- 9:00 p.m.: end of the evening. Fire show by the Super Show company canceled and postponed to a later date
Head to Eaubonne, in the Val-d'Oise, for a festive and spectacular Bastille Day! While some towns opt for the eve, here we truly mark the holiday with a full day of activities for families and friends. Make for the Parc du Val Joli, from 6:30 p.m. onward for the occasion!
The town sits in the heart of the Montmorency Valley, and has a history that is rich and enthralling. From the Celts and the Romans, through Jean-Jacques Rousseau and the Bourbon-Condé lineage, a great many visitors and locals alike have fallen for the region's charm. Eaubonne is today known for its numerous castles, its churches, and the Paul Éluard House...
