The magical ice rink and raclette chalet are back in the courtyard garden of the Plaza Athénée for Christmas.

In December, the magic of Christmas takes hold of Paris: the streets light up, the Christmas window displays come to life , and the festive spirit spreads to young and old alike, who set off in search of the capital's most beautiful gourmet spots and magical entertainment. At the heart of this enchantment, the Plaza Athénée once again unveils its famous temporary ice rink and gourmet chalet straight out of the mountains.

The Plaza Athénée ice rink covers nearly 100 m² of real ice in the majestic courtyard garden. FromNovember 27, 2025, to January 31, 2026, young skaters (aged 3 to 12) can glide under the sparkling lights of the palace, accompanied by a professional ready to share their tips for champion-worthy moves. To take to this magical rink, you'll need to give in to the temptation of an adult snack starting at $75, which includes access for children.

A chalet that smells of the Alps

After all that effort, it's time to relax! Just a stone's throw from the ice rink, the Chalet du Plaza Athénée invites you to sample mountain specialties in a warm and intimate atmosphere, for only about twenty guests. On the menu is the inimitable raclette made with raw milk, accompanied by fine charcuterie, followed by comforting creations from pastry chefs Angelo Musa and Elisabeth Hot, including chocolate fondue. For the occasion, the ice rink is privatized and accessible to guests from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

This unique dinner is offered at €225 per person, including a glass of champagne as an aperitif, a choice of starter, the famous raclette, dessert, and hot drinks. Please note that reservations are required!
