Christmas 2026 in Vincennes: Christmas Market and events

Vincennes is already preparing for Christmas 2026! The programme includes a night market starting on November 27, the Christmas Village from December 4 to 24, gift ideas and festive treats.

Here we go again: the end of the year is here! Adults become children again while the youngest start to dream, thousands of lights twinkle, handmade goods appear on the stalls of wooden chalets, and food lovers treat themselves to a few regional specialties. You’ve guessed it: Christmas markets are back! From the most traditional to the most unusual, including charity Christmas markets... they draw plenty of fans every year.

There are many in Paris, and just as many across the Île-de-France region! From December 4, 2026, to December 24, 2026, according to the provisional dates announced by the organizer, head to the gates of Paris in Val-de-Marne to visit the Vincennes Christmas Village. Festivities will actually get underway a little earlier, with a night market on November 27.

Head to Rue du Midi and Rue Raymond-du-Temple, which hosted the merchants’ Christmas market in previous years, to find lovely gift ideas, Christmas decorations, wooden toys and handmade jewelry... For food lovers, there was honey from across France, farmhouse cider, Canadian specialties and even a Réunion Island grocery store showcasing vanilla. Not to mention crêpes and waffles! The list of exhibitors for 2026 is yet to be confirmed.

But the Christmas magic in Vincennes goes far beyond that! With the ice rink, horse-drawn carriage rides, enchanted parades, shows and Christmas carols, previous editions had plenty to delight the whole family! We’re now waiting for the City to announce whether these festive activities will return for the end-of-year celebrations.

Vincennes Christmas festivities programme 2026:

Here are the first dates announced:

Friday, November 27, 2026, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Christmas night market, Place Diderot, featuring handmade creations, jewelry, textiles, decorations and food on site.
December 4–24, 2026: Vincennes Christmas Village, according to the provisional dates announced by the organizer. The village traditionally takes place on Place Pierre-Sémard, a location that has yet to be confirmed for 2026.
December 5–9, then December 12–16, 2026: Créateurs’ Pop-Up Christmas Market in Vincennes Ouest, at Salle Jean-Marie-Aragon, 16 Avenue Georges-Clemenceau. Each of the two sales will bring together 5 to 7 creators offering jewelry, textiles, objects and treats.

The Christmas ice rink, horse-drawn carriage rides, parades and other family activities are expected to be announced soon. The full program for Vincennes en fêtes 2026 has not yet been unveiled by the municipality.
