Were you waiting for it? Mariage Frères launches their first teatime in Paris this winter 2022! A scrumptious Christmas teatime including savory dishes and pastries based on the historic house’s famous teas.

The teatime includes a selection of delicious pastries and savory treats based on tea, and served with a cup of tea from the Christmas collection, for €52. You can even pair it with a glass of champagne for an extra €10.

Let us start with the savory part. Enjoy the gingerbread and peppery foie gras mille-feuille with Christmas Orange tea, an elegant blend of soft and peppery hints. Then comes the crunchy cannolo stuffed with butternut compote and intense ginger with Noël Amour tea, an explosion of flavors. Then, move on to the smoked salmon Paris-Brest, Matcha tea and Japanese yuzu cream with golden almonds, very soft.

And now, time for the tea-based pastries including the “Sapin de Noël” cake based on Matcha & Christmas green teas, praline chocolate, blue Noël Amour tea cupcake, blackcurrant and blueberry confit, fresh Christmas Earl Grey tea meringue, tangerine and Japanese yuzu cream, and Parisian scone with Christmas tea and candied orange.
