This year, Printemps Haussmann is putting Paris on skates! For Christmas 2025, the department store is celebrating its 160th anniversary and the opening of its first American location by bringing a New York vibe to its facades and floors. Have you ever dreamed of twirling on the ice at Rockefeller Center? Good news: no passport required!
From the street, Printemps' Christmas windows plunge passersby into a miniature Big Apple: snow-covered skyscrapers, yellow taxis, and thousands of snowflakes. In the center, the legendary New York ice rink is displayed in miniature, serving as a preview... before the full-size version, perched a few floors higher.
Because the highlight of the show is literally in seventh heaven! On therooftop of Printemps de la Femme, the Patinoire du 7e Cielmakes the rooftops of Paris sparkle. A nod to the Rockefeller Center, this 96 m² synthetic ice rinkpromises a delightful skating experience with a backdrop of breathtaking views of the Eiffel Tower andthe Opéra Garnier.
Small and therefore exclusive: a maximum of fifteen skaters can trace their arabesques at a time. Open to everyone aged 6 and over, from November 8, 2025, to January 4, 2026, every day from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., free of charge upon reservation. And before you hit the ice, an essential reminder: gloves are mandatory!
And to melt with pleasure without leaving the ice, stop bythe gourmet corner. Three pastries and three drinks to choose from, created by Printemps chef Bryan Esposito and inspired by the famous golden chocolates, to recharge your batteries before another lap around the rink.
