Ah, the magic of the holiday season! The enchantment of this time of year envelops the capital in a blanket of lights and festive decorations, while people rush to enjoy the many events that enliven the month of December in Paris. Christmas markets, animated window displays, meetings with Santa Claus, and ice rinks punctuate the end of the year, to the delight of young and old alike.
Christmas is also a time for great deals, with wonderful free events and creative workshops to inspire us for our festive meals. As part of the "Les Bibliothèques Fêtent Noël" (Libraries Celebrate Christmas) event, the inthe 13th arrondissement invites us to celebrate Christmas Japanese style. And with good reason, as theVirginia Woolf Media Library is offering an unusual activity to embellish our decorations: a Christmas origami workshop.
The event will take place on December 3, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will learn how to make your own decorations by discovering different folding methods before taking your creations home with you. Children aged 8 and over are welcome.
