The festivities kick off in Paris and the Île-de-France region with the appearance of Christmas window displays, beautiful street lights, and Christmas trees in every window! In Seine-et-Marne, near Serris, the illuminations kick off the holiday season on December 1, 2025, with lots of free entertainment, followed by a Christmas market and a show for children.
For the lighting of the Christmas lights at 7 p.m., enjoy a superb fireworks display that will light up the town of Serris with its beautiful colors, warming hearts in the winter cold! Also on the program are the Les Enchanteurs choir, a visit from Santa Claus to the delight of children, and beautiful illuminated displays.
On Saturday, December 13, Place de Saria will host its SariaChristmas Market from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., surrounded by sparkling garlands and delicious smells. Find gifts to put under the tree with local products, original gifts, creative and handmade items, and don't forget to hop on the Christmas carriage for a few laps around town and make your own decorations increative workshops.
For younger children, the show "Le train de Noël" (The Christmas Train ) allows them to wait for Christmas Day on December 21 at 3 p.m., before enjoying a complimentary snack, by following the adventures of Dodo and Rémi, two not-so-talented troubadours who didn't get many presents for Christmas and decide to travel around the world in their song train to try to catch up with Santa Claus! Tickets cost between €5 and €8.
