The festivities begin on Wednesday, December 3, with the lighting of the Christmas lights in front of City Hall. Children from local recreation centers will parade through the streets carrying lanterns, a wonderful way to kick off the celebrations in a warm atmosphere. Throughout the month, the Jean-Ferrat and René-Fallet media libraries will offer an interactive Advent calendar: one puzzle to solve each day and, for the most perceptive, surprise rewards to be won.

On Friday, December 5, the André-Malraux hall will host the "Chanté Noël" evening organized by the Ethnick'97 association. This festive evening will be accompanied by light refreshments in a typically Caribbean musical atmosphere. On Saturday, December 6, craft lovers can discover the exhibition and sale organized by the Au Fil de l'Yerres association at the Square de la Mare.

On Saturday, December 13, the city will celebrate creativity with several workshops. At Micro-Folie, children will be able to make their own decorations using a laser cutter, while the René-Fallet media library will offer a greeting card-making workshop for teenagers and adults.
