The holiday season of Christmas 2026 at Disneyland Paris is already making waves, even though it’s still a year away! The Disney’s Enchanted Christmas will return from November 7, 2026, to January 6, 2027, as announced by the resort on X. This festive edition promises to be even more magical, featuring new shows, parades, and special highlights. Throughout the winter season, families and friends will be transported to a fairy tale setting, where the park glows daily with artificial snow on Main Street U.S.A., surrounded by towering trees, twinkling lights, and the joyful sounds of Christmas.
Among the holiday highlights at Disneyland Paris for Christmas 2025, the debut of the Mother Christmas adds a new layer to the traditional meet-and-greet with Santa Claus. Meanwhile, new light projections will transform the park’s facades after sunset, creating a magical winter wonderland. Visitors can also encounter Belle dressed in her winter attire, inspired by the film Beauty and the Beast, for enchanting photo opportunities right in the heart of the festive season. Fingers crossed these surprises return in 2026.
From the beginning of November, Disneyland Park is transformed into a real-life Christmas fairy tale. A majestic Christmas tree rises 24 meters high, proudly dominating the park. Main Street U.S.A. is sprinkled with a delicate layer of snow and more than 1,000 ornaments, immersing visitors in a magical and warm atmosphere. Several times a day, snow will fall on the park's main avenue, while the shop windows and facades will come alive with lighting effects and seasonal decorations. These visual moments punctuate the day and reinforce visitors' immersion in the Christmas spirit.
Every evening starting November 21, in Town Square, a majestic 24-meter Christmas tree will light up to the sound of a choir performing seasonal songs live. Mickey, Minnie, and their friends will join in this symbolic ceremony, marking the start of the nighttime festivities. The facades of Main Street U.S.A. will come alive with magical projections, enveloping visitors in a warm, wintery atmosphere.
Apart from the parade, visitors will be delighted by a variety of additional festivities. For children and their families, the chance to meet Disney Characters dressed in holiday attire, alongside Santa Claus, will offer a truly special experience. Starting November 16th, guests can also encounter Aurora and Prince Philip inside the castle, along with other characters in festive costumes such as Stitch, Dingo, or Jack Skellington.
For the first time ever at the park, Mrs. Claus will join Santa to meet visitors. Warm and caring, she’ll share Christmas stories and behind-the-scenes anecdotes about holiday preparations with guests of all ages. These exclusive encounters will complement the traditional photo sessions with Santa, just before his big global tour begins.
A true staple at Disneyland Paris, this illuminated parade returns to brighten Main Street U.S.A. with vibrant floats and catchy music. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and their friends march alongside Disney Princesses and Santa Claus, creating a visual and musical spectacle. Awarded the Brass Ring Award by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) in 2022 for the most creative holiday show, it remains one of the season’s most anticipated highlights.
Located between Fantasyland and the Walt Disney Studios Park, these chalets offer seasonal specialties. Hot chocolate, waffles, soups, mulled wines, and Christmas treats will be available amidst an ambiance reminiscent of traditional markets.
The iconic resort hotel transforms into a winter wonderland, with regal decorations and exclusive activities. Visitors can attend Timekeeper’s Guardians and Winter Light, musical storytelling sessions held in the hotel lobby, or enjoy festive menus with themed desserts and exclusive drinks in its restaurants.
This family-friendly show takes place at the Videopolis Theatre in Discoveryland. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Dingo lead audiences through classic holiday tunes like “Petit Papa Noël” and “Vive le Vent”. It’s a chance for visitors to sing along with these beloved melodies in a joyful, festive setting.
Starting November 16th, daily at the foot of the Sleeping Beauty Castle, Disney Princesses—Aurora, Cinderella, Belle, Tiana, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Ariel, and Snow White—gather for an elegant waltz. This show showcases Disney’s magic and elegance through refined costumes and graceful choreography.
From December 5, 2025, to January 4, 2026, meet Deadpool for a lively singing and dancing session and join him in epic holiday celebrations at Avengers Campus. The anti-hero will roam the campus—on his magical unicorn!
The season will conclude with a spectacular New Year’s Eve party at Disneyland Paris. On December 31st, the park will stay open until 1 a.m., culminating in a breathtaking fireworks display over the Sleeping Beauty Castle to ring in the new year in dazzling style.
This Christmas season is especially geared toward families with children, fans of magical shows, and visitors eager to immerse themselves in Disney’s enchanting world. Encounters with characters, the Sparkling Christmas Parade, the tree lighting ceremony, and musical performances are tailored for a family audience seeking joyful, organized, and safe festive experiences. Staying at the Disney Hotels offers an ideal extension of the magic, with themed decor and activities especially appealing to little guests.
We had the chance to explore this season at its launch... And families are front and center, with many kid-friendly activities like the Mrs. Claus handing out candies at park entrance near the giant tree. The decorations are breathtaking: strings of lights, countless ornaments, Disney characters everywhere... It’s a Victorian-style Christmas on Main Street U.S.A. (not literally Victorian, but you get the idea...), while the Walt Disney Studios go for a more urban vibe, with decorations reminiscent of French city streets, including the Ratatouille area, featuring lighting on the fountain and trees, evoking the Champs-Élysées at night.
Keep in mind, since the Christmas season is highly popular, parks tend to fill up quickly. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended if you plan to visit. Comfortable shoes are also essential—you’ll be walking a lot—as are warm clothing and rain gear to stay cozy in the winter weather. Dress appropriately for the cold and potential showers.
And don’t miss the nighttime show, which, even without a dedicated Christmas scene, is well worth seeing. The projections on Main Street U.S.A. create a magical atmosphere for an immersive Christmas experience. All that’s left is to book your tickets!
The park shops and hotels will also feature a selection of themed holiday products. Visitors can find exclusive items like plush toys of Mickey and Minnie in festive outfits, sparkling ornaments, Belle’s winter cape, or a sequin-adorned headband.
Finally, to keep the magic going, the Castle Boutique offers all year round a full range of Disney-inspired Christmas decorations. Are you ready to celebrate Christmas in the park, friends?
