Fortnite welcomes the scariest season of the year with its annual event, Fortnitemares 2024(Fortnite: Cuachemars in French). Available from now until November 2, 2024, players will be able to jump into a dedicated game mode and immerse themselves in a series of terrifying quests and in-game activities!
Several new outfits have made their appearance for this specialHalloween event. These include Baba Yaga, Poiscrade the Mudfish, Squelettara and Midas of the Shadows. Iconic characters from other universes also join the party: Sally and the Pumpkin King from Mr. Jack's Strange Christmas (3400 V-Bucks), Mephisto from the Marvel universe (2800 V-Bucks) and Billy, Jigsaw 's puppet from Saw (3300 V-Bucks). These exclusive outfits are available in-store, so don't miss the chance to add them to your collection.
Also on the skins list: Edward Scissorhands, She-Venom and Agony, Leatherface, as well as several Disney villains, such as Cruella, Captain Hook and Maleficent, already announced at D23, during the panel dedicated to Fortnite, Disney Horizon.
To add to the autumnal ambience, some iconic items are making a comeback. The pumpkin launcher, known for launching fearsome explosive pumpkins, will once again be available to players. The Witch's Broom, which allows you to soar high into the sky, and the Stake Shotgun are also back. Also available is the Billy Explosive chainsaw, in Horde Assault mode.
ThisHalloween festival wouldn't be complete without the many special quests on offer during Fortnitemares 2024. By completing these missions, players will be able to earn EXP and exclusive items to customize their avatar. Rewards include the Demon Bat bass , the Horde Warrior Tire back accessory and the Large Scarecrow glider . Game modes also include the return of"Horde Assault", where players team up to defeat waves of zombies.
