Halloween 2025: seasonal workshops and events at La Défense in Paris

A strange phenomenon takes hold of the capital every year at the end ofOctober... Fog rolls in, pumpkins sprout in every corner and strange creatures are spotted in the shadows of buildings... There's no doubt about it: Halloween is back in Paris this autumn!

Halloween is that time of year when we enjoy far too many sweets, while carving gourds of all sizes, and chatting with witches, ghosts and zombies. An exciting time! The whole capital goes into Halloween mode, even the serious business district of La Défense.

In the midst of the skyscrapers, Parisians and visitors of all ages can enjoy the special events organized from October 27 to 30, 2025. Games, workshops, strolls: find out what's in store at La Défense this Halloween. Please note that several activities are available by reservation only. • Monday, October 27
  • Pumpkin carving workshops

    We all know there's nothing better than a terrifying pumpkin to decorate your dining table! So, to mark the occasion, we're organizing a scary pumpkin contest for small groups of 10 people maximum. Ready to take up the challenge?

    What if we told you that clothes don't make the creature? Check it out for yourself, as creatures on stilts will be walking around the forecourt, giving you the chance to win prizes (like tickets to GIMS, for example, but we didn't tell you that)!     This year, scary creatures have found their way into La Défense, hiding among the towers and green spaces. Your mission? Go in search of them and find their hiding place! Thanks to a small booklet, this fun treasure hunt is ideal for children aged 3 and over. And if you succeed in your mission, you'll win some surprises!
