For Halloween, Poigny-la-Forêt goes with live magic. On Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 6 p.m., L’Incroyable Histoire de la magie brings its whimsical professor to the Claude Vatran community hall. The free show is sold out, the town hall announces.
The show centers on a bumbling professor who tells the history of magicians. From antiquity to today, he guides the journey through the ages by spotlighting the discipline’s leading figures. The Compagnie des Miracles blends this historical voyage with an interactive format, inviting the audience to take part in the spectacle.
This Halloween event has a family-friendly touch: curiosity about magic tricks meets the world of wizards, but the tale being told is about magic and the people who perform it. The performance lasts one hour and is recommended for ages five and up.
In the municipality, the candy drive and the Halloween snack organized by the CFI are being extended. The seasonal celebration continues on stage, with a show aimed at children and the adults who accompany them.
The show is part of the second edition of Yvelines Théâtre, staged by the Department from October 16 to November 15, 2026. The festival gathers fifty free performances and fifteen companies, blending theatre, magic, circus, and puppetry.
The show is staged at the Claude Vatran Hall, on the Rambouillet Road in Poigny-la-Forêt. Accessible facilities for people with reduced mobility are announced. The show page remains viewable on the festival’s ticketing site.
