Every year, for a September weekend, all these places – whether they are open to the public or not – open their doors to people for free! This year, the Centre d’Art Cinématographique Le Rex takes part in the event and opens. Inaugurated in 1944 by Jean Marais, Yves Montand, Edith Piaf and Jean Cocteau, Le Rex is a must in Châteney-Malabry (92). This is an indie movie theater listed as an art house. It has two auditoriums, an editing studio and an exhibition area. But its Art Deco style makes it one of the most beautiful theaters in Île-de-France.
