This year, the Heritage Days return for a 43rd edition. This cultural highlight is a must for art, history, and architecture enthusiasts, as well as for curious visitors eager to explore the region around Paris. For one weekend, the monuments, museums, castles, churches as well as monuments usually off-limits to the public welcome you with a rich program of often free visits and innovative activities for young and old. A playful and original way to discover our heritage in a new light!
And it's a fact that the Île-de-France region's heritage remains largely unknown. That's why, for this year's Journées du Patrimoine, we're inviting you to discover the jewels in the crown of the Île-de-France region!
If you find yourself on the Hauts-de-Seine side or you’re curious to explore the region’s patrimonial treasures, this time we invite you to head to Clamart, on the doorstep of Paris, to enjoy a broad program that could keep you busy for at least an entire day! Here’s a quick tour of the visits awaiting you on September 19 and 20, 2026:
