In Paris and throughout theÎle-de-France region, the Journées du Patrimoine are a not-to-be-missed event. During this exceptional weekend, our most beautiful treasures open their doors to us, sometimes in unprecedented ways, to let us enjoy a special program, often free of charge.
From now on, museums and monuments, as well as major institutions and private venues, will be joining in the fun, offering guided or self-guided tours, entertainment for young and old, and unusual activities that promise a whole new experience. As you can imagine, with the beautiful heritage of Paris and the surrounding region, the weekend promises to be ultra-vitamin at this 42nd edition, which awaits us on September 20 and 21, 2025.
Among the surprising places playing the Heritage Days game are hospitals. These are brimming with astonishing treasures, whether from a historical, artistic or scientific point of view. To prove it, we're taking you this time to the 14th arrondissement, to the Centre Hospitalier Sainte Anne, an establishment well known for its specialization in psychiatry, neuroscience and addictology. Here you'll find the MAHHSA, the art and history museum of Hôpital Sainte-Anne, whose collections feature works by patients from various hospitals.
