If you’re exploring the Yvelines or simply eager to uncover the department’s hidden gems, head for the Château de La Celle-Saint-Cloud, nestled in the eponymous town. Built at the end of the 18th century, this château began life as a monastery and is now owned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A designated historic monument since 1978, its grounds host a collection of contemporary artworks. Today it hosts international conferences and also serves as a residence for heads of state and foreign delegations.
Self-guided visit to the park and the château's kitchen garden at La Celle-Saint-Cloud
The town of La Celle-Saint-Cloud and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs are partnering with this event organized by the Ministry of Culture, and will exceptionally open the doors of the château’s park. On a bucolic stroll, just past a remarkable tree, visitors will be invited to discover the rich wildlife and flora thriving in the park and the château’s kitchen garden.
