This autumn, in addition to the metro-work-apéro routine, we're putting on our sneakers and heading out to explore the Île-de-France region thanks to the 42nd edition of the Journées Européennes du Patrimoine, on September 20 and 21, 2025! The idea? Two days of wide-open doors at mythical or ultra-secret sites - museums, monuments, châteaux, historic townhouses - with 100% free access. It's a chance to slip into places that are sometimes closed to the public, and admire history up close, without windows or barriers.
