This annual gathering puts cultural treasures that are sometimes tucked away in the spotlight for two days, when Europe becomes a constellation of new experiences. The event lets history, art and architecture shine in a different light by freely opening doors that are usually paid or closed the rest of the year. Out go overly scripted tours; here we embark on a cultural orbit to discover unusual places, historic private mansions and museums emblematic.

Heritage Days return this year with an exceptional edition to be held on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026. This unmissable cultural event offers the chance to visit more than 1,500 sites across Paris and the Île-de-France region. In this starry sky of discoveries, Parc aux Étoiles in Triel-sur-Seine, Yvelines, is nothing short of a supernova. Born from the observatory founded in 1973, this space museum took off in 1990 to become a true staple of scientific culture. Here, 22,000 colored stars twinkle in 34 display cases lit by black light, offering a three-dimensional galactic spectacle.

Parc aux Étoiles, one of France's 48 Centres de Culture Scientifique, Technique et Industriel (CCSTI), invites visitors to explore the universe of astronomy, astrophysics and space exploration through dioramas that bring the cosmos to life. Here you also discover geosciences, the life sciences and new technologies, for a true plunge into the infinite of knowledge. With its large telescope and a replica of a celestial dome, Parc aux Étoiles promises an interstellar journey into the heart of the universe’s mysteries, all within reach!
