The Heritage Days, held this year on the weekend of September 19–20, 2026, offer a yearly window into the places that illuminate history, culture, and everyday life. Alongside historic monuments, institutions and contemporary buildings also open their doors to reveal their missions and their heritage.
Set on the banks of the Seine in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, the Maison France Télévisions has served as the public broadcaster’s headquarters since 1998. conceived by architect Jean-Paul Viguier, this expansive complex brings together the newsrooms, studios and the teams of France 2, France 3, France 4, France 5 and franceinfo. Behind its contemporary façade lies a genuine little town where journalists, technicians, producers, set designers and many other professionals cross paths every day as they bring programmes to life.
Beyond the programs broadcast on screen, France Télévisions fulfills a public service mission: informing, entertaining, sharing culture, backing audiovisual creation, and delivering programming accessible to everyone. On the occasion of the Heritage Days, France Télévisions invites us to step through the looking glass to discover what happens behind the little screen!
