The visit leads to 98, rue de l’Université, on the Left Bank, in a mid-18th-century townhouse that has become the new Parisian home of the label in 2025. Salons, archives, a creation studio and spaces devoted to the savoir-faire of Roger Vivier compose a route that stays close to the designer’s universe, a French shoemaker famed for upending the silhouette of the stiletto in the 20th century. Sculpted heels, bold lines and buckles that have become signatures have shaped his style, carried notably by collaborations with the house Dior. From sketch to iconic models, the place traces a thread of a history where invention keeps one foot in Parisian elegance. Openings of reservations Monday, September 7.

  • A Tour of the Roger Vivier House and Its Archives

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, Maison Vivier opens the doors to its new headquarters for the first time—a refined 18th‑century townhouse in the heart of Saint‑Germain‑des‑Prés.

More than a workplace, this residence embodies the spirit of the Maison, where heritage and innovation meet in a constant dialogue between the past and contemporary creation.

The journey unfolds through a sequence of unique spaces that reveal the many facets of the Vivier identity. The Heritage Salon spotlights Roger Vivier’s iconic creations through archival pieces, photographs, and design objects. The Vivier Salon captures the founder’s eclectic, refined universe, where artistic, cultural, and aesthetic influences converge. Finally, the Archives Room opens to the public, unveiling more than a thousand treasures that trace the Maison’s history, from commissions for Princess Soraya to designs immortalized by Catherine Deneuve.

Through its salons and archives, Maison Vivier brings Roger Vivier’s visionary spirit to life while celebrating a distinctive heritage, exceptional craftsmanship, and a creativity that continues to evolve.
