Heritage Days 2025: visit the Ministry of the Economy and Finance in Bercy, Paris

The Ministry of Economy and Finance in Paris will open its doors to the public on an exceptional basis during Heritage Days, on Saturday, 19 and Sunday, 20 September 2026. Please note that admission is by registration only.

The Ministry of the Economy and Finance frequently opens Bercy to guided visits throughout the year, showcasing its artworks as well as the building’s architecture. And every year, the Heritage Days also present an opportunity to visit Bercy, this ensemble of buildings designed in 1989, notably by Paul Chemetov and Borja Huidobro.

The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) offer the most inquisitive and the most passionate visitors the chance to immerse themselves in France's heritage through guided or self-guided tours of must-see sites, museums, historic monuments, hidden or unusual places, parks and gardens.

The Ministry of Economy and Finance is taking part in these new Heritage Days this year. The institution invites you to join on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026 for guided tours of the building. On the agenda? A look at the Hall Bérégovoy and its four monumental paintings (authors: Matta, Alechinsky, Rebeyrolle, Titus-Carmel), as well as the dallage by Guy de Rougement, the Porte d’honneur by Jeanclos, and the statues of the Douves, which make up the 1% for the arts works in public institutions.

These visits are also an opportunity to admire theHôtel des Ministres, with a presentation of the Hall and Rotunda, the portrait gallery of the various financial ministers, the Michel Debré VIP Lounge, the dining rooms and the Pierre-Mendès France conference center!

On the occasion of European Heritage Days, the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Sovereignty over Industry, Energy and Digital will open its doors to the public on Saturday, September 19, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Sunday, September 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at 139 Rue de Bercy, Paris 12th.

These Days will be a chance not only to meet staff from every directorate of the ministry, who, through interactive activities, will reveal their roles and missions, but also to wander through these buildings bearing the label “Architecture Contemporaine Remarquable.”
