The Musée de l'Homme is taking part in the Journées du Patrimoine 2025 on Saturday September 20 and Sunday September 21, opening its doors to Parisians free of charge to reveal more about our ancestors and our world.

Who are we? Where do we come from and where are we going? If you've ever asked yourself these questions, then a trip to the Musée de l'Homme could well shed some light on them, answer many of your questions, and help you to see more clearly your relationship with the world and your place in it. And just in time, this Parisian museum is once again taking part in the Journées du Patrimoine 2025!

Located in the Passy wing of the Palais de Chaillot, the museum's collections showcase the world's richest anthropological and paleontological collections. Walk through the 2,500 m² Galerie de l'Homme and step back in time!

For the Journées du Patrimoine, the Musée de l'Homme is opening its doors free of charge on Saturday September 20 and Sunday September 21, 2025. Before you go, don't forget to look up and admire the Davioud glass roof, a vestige of the old palace, and enjoy the view of the Trocadero Gardens and the Eiffel Tower!
