Exciting outings await this fall in Paris and the Île-de-France region! We’re back with the Journées du Patrimoine, the European-scale cultural event, on 19 and 20 September 2026, which lets us rediscover fascinating places in the capital. For the occasion, the Musée Cernuschi, the Paris City Museum of Asian Art, opens its doors free of charge to curious visitors for a weekend dedicated to culture and discovery.

It's time to discover this astonishing museum on the edge of the Parc Monceau and learn more aboutAsian art through the collections of Henri Cernuschi (1821-1896), an Italian refugee in France, connoisseur of Asia and art collector. During his world tour from 1871 to 1873, he acquired almost 5,000 works of art, including a large number of bronzes, and commissioned architect William Bouwens der Boijen to build a mansion on avenue Vélasquez to house them.
