Don L is an influential Brazilian rapper with a solo career marked by critically acclaimed mixtapes (Caro Vapor) and a trilogy of albums (Roteiro pra Aïnouz), hailed for their authenticity and innovation. His latest album, Roteiro pra Aïnouz, Vol. 2, was a great critical and commercial success in 2021.
An immersive, sensory encounter presented and hosted by Brazilian multidisciplinary artist Puma Camillê, renowned for her innovative fusion of capoeira and voguing.
Originally from Sapiranga, a neighborhood on the outskirts of Fortaleza, Mateus Fazeno Rock, 30, is an actor, performer, musician, composer and lyricist. Mateus seeks to challenge conventional forms of rock creation by incorporating influences from grunge, punk, Brazilian funk, rap, reggae/dub and r&b. In 2020, his debut album, "Rolê Nas Ruínas", reached over 600,000 listens on Spotify. In 2023, Mateus returns to the stage with the "Jesus Ñ Voltará" tour.
Mandinga do futuro is a blend of capoeira and ballroom culture. An immersive performance where the audience is invited to travel between different temporalities and realities, through narration, music, song, capoeira, poetry and dance.
Originally from Bahia (Northeast Brazil), Dj Kai is a trans and multilingual artist who explores the intersection of body, territory and identity through his music, blending bossa nova, samba, funk and vogue beat.
Puma Camillê is a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist, renowned for her innovative fusion of capoeira and voguing.
Under the guidance of teacher Eduardo Araújo (from Guerreiros do Passo), come and enjoy an inclusive and spontaneous workshop, and discover Frevo, a dance with lively, frenetic and vigorous rhythms, inspired by the fusion of musical genres such as the march, Brazilian tango, quadrille and polka.
For Guerreiros do Passo, frevo is not stuck in the past: it is constantly reinvented, driven by the passion of those who refuse to let it be forgotten.
Frevo, which originated at the Recife Carnival in Brazil, is a carnival dance that was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2012 (no less)!
What identities are considered "other" in our society? Based on a performance imagined by Brazilian choreographer Lia Rodrigues, Calixto Neto explores, in an intimate and political gesture, what it means to become or embody "the other". Through the poetry of Fernando Pessoa, Outrar questions marginalized identities and turns the body into a space of power and transformation.
"O Samba do Crioulo Doido" recounts the process of passing on a dance heritage. A necessary gesture to ensure that the stories of black artists are no longer erased or forgotten from our historical narratives.
Saulo Duarte is a Brazilian multi-instrumentalist and producer renowned for his inventiveness and unique blend of Latin American rhythms (carimbó, cumbia, guitarrada) with reggae, funk and rock influences.
He has won two Brazilian music awards and collaborated with many major artists. His first solo album, Avante Delírio, received rave reviews internationally.
