Maison Poursin took part in the Journées du Patrimoine 2025 in Paris. The capital's oldest surviving factory originally specialized in the creation of brass buckles and brassware for saddlery and harnesses. Its reputation grew during the World's Fairs between 1890 and 1914, when a large number of horses criss-crossed the country.

By the end of the Great War, the automobile was booming, gradually replacing horse-drawn carriages and fiacres. Eventually, the new vehicles became the sole means of transport. Maison Poursin then changed tack, and began producing exclusively metal parts for luxury leather goods, strongly inspired by theworld of horses. A fascinating history and know-how to discover during the 42nd edition of the Journées du Patrimoine.
