Each year, the Heritage Days kick off the cultural season with an unmissable deal: discovering the finest treasures of France. This year, the event is set for the weekend of the weekend of 19 and 20 September 2026. In Paris and the Île-de-France region, many museums, monuments, castles et autres lieux culturels vous ouvrent leurs portes gratuitement et nous font profiter de belles animations, visites guidées et expositions.
With family, with friends, as a couple or solo, this flagship cultural event is a must-see. And for good reason, everyone will find something to love! In 2026, the spotlight falls on two exciting themes: « Patrimoine de la photographie » and « Patrimoine en péril : raviver, résister, réimaginer ».
In 2026, the program brings several new features, while the must-see spots remain central. You can explore iconic venues such as the Élysée Palace, ministries, the Institute of France, or go behind the scenes at the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, places often off-limits outside these days.
