As we told you, this year's Easter weekend falls early in the calendar, ahead of the French school vacations , while marking the start of the Luxembourg vacations. The weather conditions are not to be overlooked, especially as Météo France has placed several regions under a vigilance orange for snow and ice this Wednesday in the Rhone region. On Friday, strong gusts are expected near Lyon, due to Storm Nelson.
Remember: on the road, caution is key. Take breaks every two hours, stay hydrated and, if possible, change drivers regularly. Watch out for the weather, too, as thunderstorms and rain could make your journey even more dangerous. A yellow vigilance for strong winds has been announced for the Ile-de-France region this Thursday.
